January’s MustDeliver Driver Survey Results: Social Media

    Author: Nicki Franz

For better or worse, the use of social media platforms is enmeshed in the daily lives of nearly all of us, including those of truck drivers (though there are a few holdouts as you’ll see from our survey results). Historically, CB radios kept truckers connected while on the road but CB’s have largely been replaced with hands-free smartphones and their easy access to video calls to home, trucker message groups and forums, and popular Trucking YouTube channels. Communication and connectivity is essential to the mental health of truckers while on the road — and social media is often the best means to stay connected with family, friends, and other truck drivers while on the road. An added bonus is that social media also offers those not familiar with the lifestyle a glimpse into the daily lives of truckers on the road. Without further ado, below are the results of this month’s driver survey. We asked our drivers: Which social media platform do you spend the most time on?

Our congratulations goes out to MustDeliver driver Manoj Bali of Washington who was our MustDeliver Survey hat winner! Thank you to all the drivers who took the time to respond to our survey. Be sure to keep your eye on your inbox for next month’s MustDeliver driver survey. If you respond, you may be our next winner!
